About the business

My client is a New Zealand owned finance company and is a market leader in their industry.

About the role

They are looking for an experienced Collections Officer to join their Collections team on a temporary basis.

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in legal - performing and non performing  specialist
  • make payment arrangements and an "out of the box thinker"
  • Experience working in banking or finance environment  
  • Understanding of consumer finance and associated legislation 
  • Ability to deal with high volume of customers  
  • Handling inbound and outbound collection calls 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate  
  • Numerically competent  
  • Ability to hit the ground running!

Credit Controller

About the business

Our Client is a Market Leader in Distribution and Service in the Automotive sector.   Currently they are seeking a fabulous,  down to earth, driven Credit Controller, someone used to high volumes with the X Factor!

About the role

Main responsibilities;

  • Reconciliation of debtors accounts
  • Direct credit control for debtors.
  • Produce and verify monthly debtors statements.
  • Month end reporting requirements around debtors balances.
  • Production of overdue letters for all debtors.
  • Preparation and coordination of any debts for credit recovery.
  • Working with individuals to implement payment schemes if required.
  • Reconcile debtors accounts each month, correct any problems within agreed timeframes.

Skills and experience

  • Proven Credit Control experience 3+ years, preferably with a variety of debtors and high volumes
  • Proven ability to utilise finance systems and excellent level of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
