Collections Officers

About the business

My client is a New Zealand owned finance company and is a market leader in their industry.

About the role

They are looking for an experienced Collections Officer to join their Collections team on a permanent basis.

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in in front end collections
  • Make payment arrangements and an "out of the box thinker"
  • Experience working in banking or finance environment  
  • Understanding of consumer finance and associated legislation 
  • Ability to deal with high volume of customers  
  • Making inbound and outbound collection calls 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate  
  • Numerically competent  
  • Ability to hit the ground running!

Credit Controller

About the business

Our Client is a Market Leader in the International Freight Forwarding and Distribution sector.  Currently they are seeking a fabulous, down to earth, experienced Credit Controller, someone used to high volumes with the X Factor for a one year Maternity Contract starting mid to late May 2020.

 

About the role

 You will be responsible for your own portion of a large Ledger and have the have a proven Credit Control record of consistently achieving collection targets, be customer focussed and have the ability to work under pressure.  This is a role were a willingness to help out where required within the team is a must!

Responsible for the efficient, accurate, timely and careful credit control and processing of all administration functions.

If you pride yourself on having excellent communication skills and being able to empathise with the Customers whilst effectively working towards collections, then this is the role for YOU!

Our client is a freight forwarding company located in the North Shore area who is looking for someone to join their team as a sole charge accounts administrator

 

The role:

You will be responsible for all accounting functions within the business from AR, AP, Reconciliations, Ledgers, Debtors Management, general reporting, local and international payments, foreign exchange.

 

The successful candidate:

We are looking for someone who is switched on, has the right attitude and mindset, able to work on their own or as part of a team, efficient, have a high level of detail and accuracy, strong work ethics, a high level of integrity to handle all financial & administration functions.

We are seeking an open minded individual who holds strong business acumen, and New Zealand experience in freight forwarding, with EDI Cargowise experience being a huge advantage!

Formal qualifications in Accounting is not necessary, the key is your accounts ability in freight forwarding.
