About the business

My client is a New Zealand owned finance company and is a market leader in their industry.

About the role

They are looking for an experienced Collections Officer to join their Collections team on a temporary basis.

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in legal - performing and non performing  specialist
  • make payment arrangements and an "out of the box thinker"
  • Experience working in banking or finance environment  
  • Understanding of consumer finance and associated legislation 
  • Ability to deal with high volume of customers  
  • Handling inbound and outbound collection calls 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate  
  • Numerically competent  
  • Ability to hit the ground running!
