Collections Officers

About the business

My client is a New Zealand owned finance company and is a market leader in their industry.

About the role

They are looking for an experienced Collections Officer to join their Collections team on a permanent basis.

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in in front end collections
  • Make payment arrangements and an "out of the box thinker"
  • Experience working in banking or finance environment  
  • Understanding of consumer finance and associated legislation 
  • Ability to deal with high volume of customers  
  • Making inbound and outbound collection calls 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate  
  • Numerically competent  
  • Ability to hit the ground running!

Accounts Payable

About the business

Our client is a market leading global Manufacturer and Distributor based in Penrose.  They are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable team member.  This is a high volume AP role with a supportive team.

 

 About the role

 - High volume Accounts payable

- Ensuring all invoices are processed, coded and matched to PO using JDE system

- Preparation of payments runs and resolving any queries both internal and external.

-  Ensuring credits are processed in a timely manner

- Overdue accounts and follow up with suppliers on outstanding invoices

- Back up Reception - so you need to have a lovely smile!

Skills and experience

Junior Accounting & Admin Assistant

About the business

Our Client is a market leading manufacturer and distributor to the Food Industry.   They have a fantastic culture, great location in Penrose and stability for the future!

 

About the role

 Initially positioned on Reception the role will be a mixture of general Accounts and Administration.  The role will then move fully into the Shared Services Team were you will be doing the following;

  • Cost accounting – uploading new costings, production variance reports;
  • Book-keeping – bank account sundries and various journal preparation/entry
  • Finance/treasury – bank reconciliations
  • Cost reporting – eg fuel card statement analysis and report-generation for management team
  • Accounts Payable – various support tasks
  • Accounts Receivable – various support tasks including incoming payment processing, credit note processing, masterdata maintenance, etc.

 

Benefits and perks

 Excellent starting salary of $50,000-$52,000 pa and benefits of the company.  Great team, parking on site and fabulous training ground.

 

Skills and experience

 - 1-2 years experience in an Accounts based role - this is a Junior training role

- Excellent communication skills with initiative and drive

- Exposure to ERP system advantageous, Microsoft suite experience essential

- Must have the right to work in New Zealand
