Area Sales Manager

Great role with a company established in the 1920’s with several divisions throughout NZ.  They are on e of the largest privately owned companies in their field who have supplied many of the biggest construction projects in NZ.  Due to an internal promotion they are on the hunt for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join the Auckland team.  The prime objective of this division of the company is to provide quality pipe, fittings, valves and associated products to the infrastructure, irrigation, mining and process markets within NZ and Pacific regions. 

To be considered for this role you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong sales acumen with at least 10 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in the civil, construction and infrastructure sector.
  • Ability to build strong networks and turn leads into viable sales
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, CRM)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar
  • Able to assimilate new technology with ease.

Country Manager

 

We are seeking an experienced Leader from within the International Freight Forwarding industry, ideally you will have Country Management experience already - if not you will have successfully held either a substantial Operations Manager role or a Sales Manager position.

The role is leading a well-established player within the Industry, there is an experienced and established Management team reporting to this role. The company is performing well but needs a dynamic and driven Manager to take it to the next level. 

We are looking for a proven all-rounder who is able to meet the expectations placed around the operational and financial performance of the Business.

You will have full P&L responsibility Nationally for the Freight Forwarding and 3PL Operations.

The challenges for this role lie mainly in driving growth in the business and taking it to the next level, you will be a confident leader who prides yourself in the high personal standards you set for yourself and others to follow.

There will be some domestic and Trans-Tasman Travel.
