Service Electrician

This large, well established multinational has been offering exceptional service to the wider Auckland region for decades. The Role:
Maintain current clients based around the South Auckland area.

What you need:
Ideally you will be qualified in electrical engineering and have 3 years + experience 
in a similar role or be a registered electrician. You will need to be comfortable and capable working unsupervised and have a drive for carrying out top quality work. 
A full drivers licence is essential for this job.

Gasket Cutter

About the business

Our Client is a Market Leading Distributor and Manufacturer based in East Tamaki.  They are seeking a hands on Gasket Cutter responsible for the measuring and cutting of seals for their busy team!  

 

About the role 

Responsibilities for Production;

  • Produce production drawings to specification from samples sketches or specifications
  • Nest drawings into cutting layouts to optimise material usage
  • Select specified materials from Inventory
  • Operation of the gasket cutting machinery
  • Packaging of the gaskets if required
  • Cleanliness and care of equipment and gasket cutting area

Responsibilities for Administration:

  • Manage the production schedule and planning to ensure the customer receives delivery on time in full 
  • Process factory orders to accurately record actual labour and material usage
  • Complete sales orders paperwork to prepare for despatch
  • Maintain accurate Bill of Materials
  • Maintain the information required for drawing registers and customer information

Shift Engineer

 

Based in Avondale on Rosebank Rd this clever and innovative and successful company has a vacancy for an experienced Shift Engineer.  Their Global parent company was founded over 50 years ago and now has manufacturing across several parts of the world.  In NZ the team is well established with many long-term employees.

The role offers plenty of variety from project work through to day to day maintenance and tooling changes.  The shift patterns are excellent and usually only 8 hours unless something unexpected happens.  This is a hands-on role, but you will get to work with some extremely clever machines.

What you need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience post qualification (Fitter, BE mechanical)
  • Experience in high speed manufacturing environment (Packaging and Printing would be advantageous)
  • Prepared to work rotating shift rosters
  • Proven abilities maintaining a variety of specialist machinery
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
  • PLC and Automation experience is desirable.

Warehouse Storeman Needed!!

 

With clients all over Auckland, we are in serious need of some great Storemen!

We have several roles, with locations ranging from the north shore to the airport, with some great companies who need experienced Storemen who have previously worked in a  Warehouse to join their teams.

There are varied driving and stores positions and you will be working in fast paced, high pressured freight environments where you can put your multitasking skills to the test!

Responsibilities:

  • Inwards and outwards goods handling
  • Container checks and devanning
  • Loading/unloading trucks
  • Heavy lifting
  • Freight stacking
  • Operating a Forklift to move, locate or re-locate cargo
  • General warehousing duties

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with;

  • Current Forklift Licence - F endorsement
  • If you have Counter Balance, Reach and MPI Accreditation - even better!
  • Good geographical knowledge of Auckland
  • A minimum of a Restricted Drivers Licence
  • Solid warehousing experience      
  • Physically fit and able to lift to 25 kgs      
  • Good history of being reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow instruction
  • Good knowledge on Health and Safety
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse
  • Class 2/4/5 Truck Licence would be an added bonus.

Whats on offer:

The roles are offering between $18-$25 per hour, dependent on the applicant.  Hours of work vary, with night shift options as well and occasional weekend work.
