They continue to have significant year on year growth and are looking to further cement themselves as the premier supplier in their sector of the Transport industry. They have a very strong Dealer network nationwide and have a substantial support office to ensure this person is successful.


About the Role

This role will be working closely with the Parts Manager taking responsibility for:

- Conducting regular stock level reviews

- Ordering product both locally and from overseas suppliers

- Working closely with the dealer network to ensure optimum stock levels are maintained

-  Dealing with clients and suppliers with regards to Parts Warranty claims and returns

- Liaising with the Workshop and Parts Mangers for Sales promotion stock for Branch and Dealer  network

- Assisting with promotional and advertising campaigns both in Print and Radio

-  Liaising with suppliers for new product lines

- Providing support for new product launches to the wider dealer network

-  Assisting with the Sales Counter during busy times


Skills & experience

Ideally you will have come from a heavy transport or automotive parts background in either counter or phone based sales.

You will have excellent customer service skills as well as an analytical mindset and be able to look at trends and see where there may be short comings.

You will have excellent communication skills and a down to earth approach.

Parts Assistant


Our client is looking for an experienced Parts Assistant to join their already busy team. They have a fantastic brand and an even better work culture.  The main focus of the role is to maintain a high level of parts supply and excellent customer service. Communication in this role is vital.  You will be working alongside the Part Manager.

The Role:

  • Provide counter sales service
  • Procurement and distribution
  • Ordering of spare parts when required
  • Proving cost estimates for parts where required
  • Some warehouse duties
  • Ensure parts manuals are continually updated
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Assist in the monitor and control of the movement of all parts

The ideal person:

  • Experience in parts retail or similar
  • Excellent communication and customer service
  • A trade qualification is ideal
  • You must have a manual car license as well as a forklift license
  • Some weekend work and after hours work required
  • Previous industry experience is essential
  • You must have a flexible approach

The minimum hours of work is 40 hours per week, Saturday work is on a rostered basis and there will also be call out work in this role.
