NPD Innovation Technologist(Dairy)

Validation Manager

 

This very clever Kiwi company based in East Tamaki is expanding their manufacturing capabilities.  Already well respected in the market place they make a combination of own brands and contract manufactured products.  Their products are found in the health, hygiene, personal care and veterinary sectors.  Their client base is both within NZ and global.  They will take a concept through to commercialisation with manufacturing all to cGMP standards. 

With new markets opening they are now seeking a Validation Manager with experience from the Pharmaceutical sector to ensure compliance to the regulatory requirements of the facilities, equipment, systems and processes used in manufacture and testing of products.

It is essential you possess the following skills and experience to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelors degree (Scientific/Engineering) with at least 5 years’ experience in a GMP industry. (preferably Pharmaceutical)
  • Experience in GMP Qualification of facilities, equipment, utilities, process, method development and computer systems.
  • Self-motivated with excellent trouble shooting skills and a strong communicator.
  • Previous experience with presentations and strong documentation skills
  • Flexible and resourceful able to work in a fast-paced environment with agility

Duties for this role will include:

  • ·Provide quality oversight of facilities, equipment, processes, cleaning, method and computer validations in a cGMP environment on site and contractors.
  • ·Review and approve validation documentation, batch records and change controls, as well as provide input for GMP validation activities against regulatory requirements.   Apply 5S methodology.
  • Lead and represent Quality Validation in project teams such as technology transfer.
  • ·Manage and coordinate process monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives as related to validation master plans per GMP requirements.
  • ·Development and implementation of SOPs/Guideline documents with systemic procedural improvements related to validation activities.
  • ·Develop and maintain validation master plan.
  • Participate in providing quality input for protocol generation, execution, and final package preparation for process, equipment, facility, method and computer systems validation.
  • Review and approve equipment/facilities/utilities/computer requirements, qualification protocols and summary reports.
  • Review and approve change controls for validation impact related to the implementation of facility, utility, process changes, method improvements, equipment upgrades and computer systems.
