The Job

As part of the seafreight operations team, you will manage the entire operational process, from LCLs, FCLs and FAKs, from different tradelanes.  You will be well versed in the operational process and procedures.  You will need to possess a strong work ethic, have a can-do attitude and be able to think outside of the box.  

Your new role will include but not be limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines and local forwarders, releases and schedules
• Handling consolidations from Asia, Australia and the Pacific Islands
• Transhipments
• Track and trace 
• Invoicing jobs
• Customer services

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone who has been in the industry for a few years and is looking for a role to take ownership of. The ideal candidate will have:

• At least a few years proven freight forwarding experience, gained in NZ
• Experience with Cargowise 
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong multi-tasking skills with excellent time management abilities.
• High level of accuracy
• Motivated and Positive
