Management Accountant

About the role

Our Client is a Global Leader providing products and services from manufacturing to supply of technical products to the Industrial Sector nationally. Their New Zealand Operation, based in East Tamaki are seeking a new Management Accountant, CPA qualified, a hands on person to take full ownership and provide strong commercial finance leadership, Business Partnering with Australia and leading a small team from Purchasing, Inventory Administration and Warehouse Operations - mentoring and guiding.

What you'll be doing

• Full management accounts and Group reporting
• Subsidiary ledger reconciliations and cash flow reporting
• Preparation of  non -financial KPI’s & statistics local & group
• Responsibility for accurate calculation & reporting of all local taxes, levies including Income, GST, FBT , ACC, PAYE, Superannuation
• Budgeting : Prepare budgets & forecasts in areas of responsibility and provide support and analysis to the sales team
• Manage audit requirements for financial audits
• Maintain the data integrity of all sales data downloaded to Group Reporting portals
• Management of working capital
• Staff Supervision of team, mentoring and development
• General Management of Utilities and Services for site

What we're looking for

1. Business degree (CPA qualified) with at least 5 years post qualification experience
2. Excellent team player with high wok ethics that is self-managing
3. High standard of accuracy, attention to detail with high standard of integrity
4. Experience of working within a Manufacturing and Distribution environment would be advantageous
