Our Client is a key player in the Logistics Industry that provides fully integrated solutions for a number of New Zealand's largest Importers and Exporters. This role will appeal to strategic thinkers who can articulate solutions to Clients for their domestic transport requirements - offering cost effective, unique and environmentally friendly solutions.
Working with major players including Shipping Lines / Ports / Container Depots / Kiwi Rail and Domestic Transport providers to pull together and work on new solutions for large scale shippers.
This role will concentrate on growth focusing on removing the risk and stress of supply chain management for the Customer. It will be about identifying opportunity, targeting large scale operations nationwide, providing solutions and working across Warehousing, Procurement and Transport decision makers - selling the dream of a seamless Logistics journey! Also you are involved in market feedback alongside a strong KAM team, utilising key sales tactics to secure new Customers.
You have proven experience in Sales/Business Development in Logistics, ideally a strong understanding of Rail, Container, Port Operations and/or Intermodal Freight. You are a top communicator, professional, driven and the ability to travel and use your existing industry contacts in New Zealand Freight, Transport, Freight Forwarding or similar!
