Class 5 Linehaul

Our client is looking for an experienced Class 5 Tanker driver to join their growing business. Ideally with 2 years' experience, good health and safety knowledge, you will also have the all-important customer service skills.  The role involves delivering chemicals to customers in the upper half of the north island, over 5-6 days a week

Hourly rate is $25-$30 per hour dependent on experience

 

Class 5 Metro deliveries

We have several roles on offer with various reputable transport and freight forwarding companies.

3 x roles are delivering general freight throughout Auckland. Good geographical knowledge, and class 5 experience is a must. The ability to get stuck in and help with any extra duties in the depot and warehouse is advantageous.  A great hourly rate is being offered, along with 1 role including an attractive bonus scheme. $22-$25 per hour dependent on experience.

6 x roles have varied runs and shifts all with their own requirements. Conventional truck, and tail lift experience are required, along with a good geographical knowledge of Auckland. $22.

 

Class 2 Driver

Our client is a family owned business who delivers cabinetry around Auckland. They are after an experienced Class 2 Driver with good geographical knowledge to join their close knit team. On offer is a competitive hourly rate of $23 per hour

 

Class 2/4 Driver/Storeman

Our Freight forwarding client based at Auckland Airport has a role with 80% stores work, with 20% driving.

The driving aspect of the role will be deliveries from the airport oaks area to the airport and back.

Hourly rate is $ 21-$23 per hour.

Our clients are well known freight forwarders based at Auckland Airport who are looking for experienced Brokers to join their team. 

 

About the role:

There are 2 x positions - one at an intermediate level and the second is a senior level.  In these roles, you will be part of the team and sharing your knowledge with those around you. There are a number of key accounts that import and export a wide and varied range of commodities and through your knowledge and expertise you will build a good rapport with the clients.

To be considered for this role you will need to have your NZ Customs Pin and have previous experience as a broker in freight Forwarding, and be confident in classifying a diverse range of commodities from the tariff and have strong knowledge on Customs & MPI rules and regulations.

 

The Candidates they are looking for will be:

  • Customs Broker with Pin
  • Customs Broker with International clearance experience 
  • Accurate and be able to push through a high number of entries.

Our clients are both global logistics providers. They are each looking for a storeman/driver who doesn't mind getting stuck in in the warehouse, and is willing to go the extra mile to get that urgent delivery done.

 

Job Description

This is a varied driving and stores positions and you will be working in a high pressured freight environment so your level cool head and hands on flexible approach will see you succeed in this role. The hours are between 7am to approx 4.30 - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday or Sunday as required.

 

Your new role will include but not be limited to:

Import Airfreight Operator

 

The company:

Our client is a global leader in Freight Forwarding and are in search of an experienced Import Airfreight Operator to join their team.

 

The role:

You will look after the day to day import operations,  receipting manifests and docs to process airfreight shipments, releasing freight, track and trace, ensuring docs are received and passing them onto the brokers for clearance, rates, quotes, dealing with airlines, forwarders, clients, overseas agents and various suppliers and handling any general customer enquiries.

 

Hours of work:

The hours of work 8.30 to 5.00 pm and the usual overtime if and when required as it goes in freight. 

 

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience in Freight Forwarding, ideally Import Air 
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Flexibility is required as the workload can have its peaks and troughs.

Salary:

The functions of the role will include:

  • Work very closely with the sales team and assisting them with any rates, quotes and assist in any tender or project requirements

The company:

Our client is looking for a International Freight Customer Service Representative to join their medium sized freight forwarding business.  As their CS person, you will have previous experience in a CS role in freight forwarding or our client may consider someone from a sales support or import operations background.

 

The roles will include:

  • Loads of client liaison (have your own client base)

  • Monitor the importation of goods right through to delivery
