The Jobs 

In the Import Operations team you will be looking after seafreight shipments. Your ability to manage the entire Import process is essential as the client needs you to hit the ground running.  Your new role will include but not be limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines and local forwarders regarding bookings, releases, and schedules
• Register and process clients' documents/shipments
• Track and trace for containers and cargo
• Invoicing jobs

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who is well versed in all things Imports, and is ready to do a little more than operations. You will also have:

• Proven Import Sea experience, ideally gained in NZ
• EDI experience - a strong advantage
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Multi-tasking abilities
